What is SMART CEUs Hub?

A fully online, on-demand continuing education platform offering NCTRC-approved and OAHPERD-approved courses for Recreational Therapists and HPERD professionals.

How do the courses work?

All courses are self-paced. Once purchased, you can start immediately, complete the lessons, pass the quiz, and download your certificate.

Are your courses pre-approved?

Yes. RT courses are pre-approved by NCTRC. HPERD courses are pre-approved by OAHPERD or meet the standards listed in the course description.

What is included in the Unlimited CEUs Membership?

Full access to all RT or HPERD course libraries for one year (depending on which Unlimited CEUs Membership you purchased).

Do you offer refunds?

Full refunds are available for up to 7 days after purchase of either single courses or the Unlimited CEUs Membership. 

How do I access my completion certificates?

After passing the course quiz, your certificate will automatically generate inside your account for download.

Who teaches your courses?

Industry experts—certified Recreational Therapy experts, P.E. teachers, health educators, coaches, and other credentialed professionals.

Are your courses approved for NCTRC?

Yes. All Recreational Therapy courses on SMART CEUs Hub are pre-approved by NCTRC prior to them being listed.

How many CEUs do I need as a CTRS?

CTRS professionals need 50 clock hours (5 CEUs) every 5 years to maintain certification.

 

NCTRC uses:
1 clock hour = 0.1 CEU

ie: A 5 clock hour course = 0.5 CEUs.

Do your courses count toward NCTRC Specialty Certifications?

Yes. Courses are clearly labeled per specialization area (if applicable):
